Article in Barbie bazaar magazine March of 2006. Written by Barbara Jeffords, in which I was known as Valarie Clausen at the time, my full name is Valarie Pacheco VanVelzen which is what I go by now. At the time of the article, I was featured for repaints, OOAK Dolls, and I was sculpting as well, My Mermaids and Fairies which were featured in the article, was a concept/Idea of mine I developed in early 2001/and sold them on Ebay Between 2002 and 2016 under Rhiannonsdolls, Dollsbyrhiannon, lagunabeachmermaid. This is my design and concept/as where I took Jakks Pacific Dolls and Altered them, my way of sculpting a mermaid body and such as the pictures shows, I sold several of these dolls to a shop in Laguna Beach, California, in 2013
I have not done these dolls in a while, as I am concentrating on my sculpted dollhouses dolls, and OOAK dolls as well. However, I own the copywrite/for the IDEA, CONCEPT AND STYLE of this type of altering of these Jakks Pacific dolls.
